In Qatar, the Pearl plant is distributing to Doha Airport a 50/50 blend of GTL/Jet A-1, which is being used by Qatar Airways for all its flights from 2012. A higher energy density, and fewer particulate emissions are claimed compared with Jet A-1 alone.
