Cost-effective floating production using a concrete hull is described. This new vessel has been jointly developed by Brown and Root BARMAC, and Constain/Taylor Woodrow. The new design is configured so that fabrication can be completed in BARMAC's Nigg construction facility, thus enabling the entire vessel to be built at a single location, resulting in both cost and schedule savings as hull and topsides can be integrated and commissioned together.
