These guidelines refer to the control of the vapour emissions generated during the storage and movement of gasoline from the finished product tank at the refinery to the automobile fuel tank. Consideration is given to storage, road tanker loading, rail tank car loading, marine loading, vapour collection systems in terminals, vapour recovery units, incineration, rail tank car off-loading, off-loading at service stations and automobile refuelling. Requirements of proposed EC Directives are appended as well as details of a road tanker vapour collection system, vapour collection design considerations, and sizing of vapour recovery units.
