Fractal dimension and fractals in ocean engineering. F. Yuhua. China Ocean Engng., 1994, 8(3), 285--292.

Ocean environmental problems are analysed by using constant dimension fractals, and by the use of variable dimension fractals, several deformation and stress states of offshore structures are described. Details are given of related formulae for fractal analysis and various examples of the application of constant dimension fractals are presented. 3 refs.
