Hybrid-CVFE method for flexible-grid reservoir simulation. L.S.-K. Fung, L. Buchanan and R. Sharma. SPE Reservoir Engng., August 1994, 9(3), 188--194.
The flexible control-volume finite-element (CVFE) method is used to construct hybrid grids. A variety of test problems are simulated with the new method, and the results compare favourably for accuracy and efficiency to particular analytical solutions and other discretization methods' results. 25 refs.
