The work is outlined of the multi-disciplinary reservoir management, drilling and operations engineering team that completed the 9/13a-A53 sub-horizontal well on Beryl Alpha, in the North Sea. Details are given of the reservoir description and simulation, location, well seismic programme, LWD/wireline logging, and completion. 6 refs.
