The principal objectives for MalarNet is to work on energy efficiency, promote the use of renewable energy resources and to bring the information regarding energy and environmental issues to the public in the county. The purpose is to develop activities within the field of energy efficiency and renewable energy sources in order to reduce the environmental influence due to the use of energy. Focus in the work program of the agency will be on transport of biomass, refrigeration technology and production of biogas from organic waste/agricultural waste and agricultural products. The target groups for MalarNet´s activities are public authorities, SME:s and organisations in the region.
