The Energy Institute (EI) has welcomed the creation of the Department of Business, Innovations and Skills as part of the UK government’s latest cabinet reshuffle. ‘Linking academia and business into one government department to ensure that the skills acquired in universities are those needed by industry is a most welcome development for the energy industry’, commented Louise Kingham FEI FRSA, Chief Executive of the EI.
