Maersk Oil, Denmark, has recently selected Opus Maxim to supply a skid mounted Compact Flotation Unit (CFU) for their Gorm F Platform located in the Danish sector of the North Sea. The CFU will be an addition to the existing topsides facilities installed downstream of the hydrocyclones, implementing the latest technology in water treatment. It will treat up to a maximum of 400 plus m3/h of produced water, to reduce oil content to below 15ppm.
