The CFX division of AEA Technology has secured a global computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software contract from Siemens Power Generation. The CFX suite of integrated software will allow Siemens to simulate and visualise flows inside a turbine, enabling a better understanding of the issues involved in creating better designs.
