UK energy industry watchdog Ofgem has published a list of generating stations accredited for the Renewables Obligation from 1 April 2002 on its website at www.ofgem.gov.uk/renewables/renewables_obligation.htm The list will be updated on a monthly basis. Some 335 generating stations with a total installed capacity of 1,181,211 kW have been accredited to date. Over half the stations (176 in total) are landfill gas generating stations. Other technologies include sewage gas, onshore wind, hydro and biomass generating stations.
