Mauritania eyes ultra-deep opportunities

The west African republic of Mauritania, where Woodside Petroleum recently made a deepwater oil find, is already looking ahead to the licensing of its ultra-deepwater acreage. All of Mauritania's deepwater acreage, tipped by industry pundits to be highly prospective, is licensed.
