Woodside tests oil in Chinguetti-1, Mauritania well
Woodside, has tested its deepwater Chinguetti-1 well offshore Mauritania. It has discovered 86 m of oil pay with a good quality 30-degree API. It has not released any flowrate data. The Australian oil firm will now move the Saipem's Scarebeo 7 drilling semi-submersible to its next well, Courbine-1, in 1,200 m of water
