In US, Alaka’i Technologies has produced a full-scale version of its Skai five-seat eVTOL aircraft powered by 3 liquid hydrogen fuel cells generating 450 hp and 6 mechanical propellers. The 400 L 36 lb hydrogen tank permits 3 hours of flight with 1000 lb payload. Although piloted initially, the Skai will be autonomous when rules allow.
