In Finland, UPM Biofuels has secured the first official risk certification (entitled Roundtable of Sustainable Biomaterials, Low Indirect Land Use Change) for crude oil derived from wood pulp. Also acknowledged is the UPM cultivation of the Brassica Carinata oil crop in Uruguay.
