Banking on renewables
The Manila-based Asian Development Bank (ADB) recently approved a series of technical assistance and project loans aimed at increasing reliable electricity supplies from renewable energy sources, improving energy efficiency and upgrading power transmission and distribution networks in member countries across the Asia- Pacific region.
