Ugandan oil to transit Tanzania

The Ugandan government is reported to have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to send its crude oil through Tanzania, after stepping back from an accord to run a pipeline through Kenya. Uganda’s Energy Ministry has signed the MoU with the Tanzania Petroleum Development Corporation and Total to study an alternative route for the pipeline.
