New oil benchmarks to be developed for Russian trading

Saint Petersburg International Mercantile Exchange (SPIMEX) and S&P Global Platts have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) under which they will work on the development of pricing mechanisms for exported Russian crude oil, including the formation of independent and representative price indicators that will be instrumental in the pricing of Russian crude in world markets.
