India’s first wind powered stock exchange

A 6.25 MW wind farm has been completed to offset power at India’s bourse National Stock Exchange of India (NSE). Suzlon Group was the technical partner for the supply and commissioning of the project.

NSE is India’s first stock exchange to deploy wind energy to offset its captive power usage. The wind farm generates the equivalent of 65% of the energy consumption of the NSE’s Exchange Plaza building in Mumbai. The wind farm is located at Satara, Maharashtra.
