Energy efficienct cookstoves avout to be fired in China before being sold to stove distributors around the world. The US and Chinese companies behind the venture won the Ashden Global Energy Champions Award for the product, which cuts both fuels and damaging emisisons of carbon monoxide and particulates. This and other inspiring Ashden Award winners for sustainable energy projects in the developing world are described from page 10.
