Millbrook invests further in PEMS

Millbrook has announced further investment in its portable emissions measurement system (PEMS) by adding a dual flame ionisation detector (FID) unit (see Petroleum Review, January 2015). The dual FID will allow engineers to measure total hydrocarbons and methane simultaneously and will ensure absolute accuracy in all data gathered. Using the PEMS allows a much wider drive cycle route, driving style, gradient, ambient temperature and ancillary loading settings to be assessed and therefore gives a much better picture of how the vehicle performs in the real world, states Millbrook.
