Siemens steam turbine generators

A Siemens steam turbine generator set, two of which are destined for coal-fired power plants in India. The coal-fired units of the North Karanpura Super Thermal Power Project (STPP) located in the eastern Indian state of Jharkhand, and the IB Thermal Power Station Banharpalli in the neighbouring state of Odisha are due to receive the generators. The units, for Bharat Heavy Electricals, will each deliver a combined installed electrical generating capacity of 3.3 GW.
