Wind power

A total of 127 wind turbines will be built to make up the Umburnas complex wind farm in Bahia State, Brazil. The 355 MW wind farm from Renova Energia will feature turbines from Alstom and is planned to be completed by 2018. The order is part of an agreement between both companies involving the supply of more than 440 wind turbines for a minimum installed capacity of 1.5 GW. The wind turbines will be produced at an Alstom manufacturing unit in Camaçari, Brazil.
