Luxonic has designed a new lighting scheme for a 15,000 m2 warehouse in Warrington’s Omega North Business Park to be occupied by delivery international courier company Hermes. The company was charged with providing lighting schemes for both the main warehouse and the office space that achieved the desired illumination levels whilst minimising energy usage.

Mechanical and building services provider Rotary North West introduced Luxonic Lighting to the project, for which it has designed a full LED lighting solution featuring Luxonic’s Hi-Max and Skylux LED fittings combined with LED downlighters. The Hi-Max LED is applied in the main warehouse, while the office space benefits from the Skylux LED profiled optic luminaire. The office lighting scheme also uses downlighters from Luxonic’s LED ranges.

The Hermes warehouse also benefits from a site-wide lighting controls system. Presence detection and daylight linking increase efficiency further.
