Technip secures Yamal LNG contract
Yamal LNG has awarded Technip and partners a major contract for an LNG facility with a capacity of 16.5mn t/y. The project will comprise three liquefaction trains of 5.5mn t/y, reported to be among the world’s largest, and will make extensive use of modularised construction in yards. Handover of the first train is planned for 2017.
