Rosneft enters Kyrgystan's fuel market

Rosneft is looking to enter Kyrgystan’s fuel market by signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Manas International Airport under which it would take no less than a 50% stake in the refuelling complex at the airport in the city of Osh. Osh Airport is one of the largest airports in the region, transporting more than 1mn people annually. Under another MoU, Rosneft is also looking to acquire a 100% stake in the Bishkek Oil group of companies, one of the leaders in the Kyrgyz petroleum products market.
