Siemens wind farm factory to create 1,000 UK jobs
Siemens and Associated British Ports will invest £310m in Britain's first purpose-built factory for manufacture of offshore wind turbine blades. The manufacturing facility will be on 250ft long rotor blades and is due to start production in the middle of 2016, expecting to reach full production the following year.
