Church of England sees the light over fracking

The Government has awarded a number of petroleum exploration licences to areas that fall within the 100,000 acres of UK land owned by the Church Commissioners. But the church says no approaches have yet been made to frack on its land and will not consent to fracking on this land until a policy,  which is under consideration.,has been agreed on the matter.
