Munich marks maglev's German debut, Professional Engineering, 3 October 2007, p 9
In Germany, approval has been granted for a Transrapid maglev system from Munich to the city's airport. Interest in UK centres on connections between Glasgow and Edinburgh, Liverpool to Manchester, and eventually London to Scotland built progressively. Britain's failure to adopt high-speed rail technology could provide an opportunity to leapfrog to this new technology.
