Natural gas for transport, Gas Business, December 2005, p 22

In UK, a meeting of the NGVA and SBGI at Gaydon outlined developments in natural gas vehicles within Europe. Although there is no national gas grid in Sweden, 200 biogas plants power 5300 road vehicles. Italy represents the largest market with some 500 gas refuelling stations powering 400000 road vehicles, whereas Germany has the second largest market in Europe, planning to increase its gas stations from 650 to 1000 by year 2007. France expects to have 100000 NG cars and light vans by year 2010.
