In UK, the Renewables Power Association has called for the rapid introduction of a Renewable Transport Fuel Obligation (RTFO) requiring fuel suppliers to deliver a percentage of their output from green sources in the form of biodiesel, bioethanol and biogas in order to augment supplies, reduce greenhouse-gas emissions, and create employment in the agriculture industry.
