In Scotland, the BOC Gh2ost car made by Dave McGrath and Kenny Stewart was unveiled ahead of its attempt to break the world record for fuel consumption of 17 228 km/gal. The 60 kg car is driven directly by a brushless DC motor supplied by a proton exchange membrane fuel cell. A top speed of 25 km/hr is expected.
