The UK is suffering from a crippling shortage of skills - right across industry, companies are fire-fighting this pressing problem and need a swift, effective solution to plug the skills gap, says training provider Empower Training Services. Almost two thirds of companies are in need of skilled workers to satisfy demand, with shortages particularly keenly felt by the energy, water, engineering and construction industries.
