In an attempt to channel funds into wind farms, a scheme of lucrative investment opportunity has been created to offer returns of 20 per cent a year. Hundreds of millions of pounds of investors' cash from all over the world is being channelled into the UK to take advantage of lucrative tax breaks and other incentives that have made Britain the most attractive place to build wind farms in the world. This money is fuelling a building frenzy that will see another 2,000 onshore turbines built in the UK over the next five years.
