Benchmarking is now frequently used as a key improvement tool for many companies in different industries. Dr Brad Wood, Director of Bencmarking with Juran, the Ntherlands, describes an annual operation efficiency benchmarking consortium for bulk liquid storage and loading facilities, and discusses a case study involving a terminal that used the benchmarking findings to transform its performance.
