In a world where giant oil and gas fields are increasingly hard to find, explorers are turning to the few unexplored parts of the globe in the hope of delivering the resources that they need to replace reserves and meet rising energy demand. One of these frontiers is the Russian Arctic region. Here, Wood Mackenzie's Alan Murray, Exploration Service Manager, and Andrew Latham, Vice President-Exploration Service, highlight the findings of a recent Wood Mackenzie/ Furgo Robertson study on the opportunities in the Arctic and the scenarios that will make them viable.
