Advanced sandstone-acidizing designs with improved radial models. R.D. Gdanski and C.E. Shuchart. SPE Production Facilities, November 1998, 13(4), 272--278.

Consideration is given to radial models that have proved useful in exploring and simplifying the application of the kinetics of sandstone acidizing. Ion exchange, decomposition of clays, and precipitation of aluminium fluorides are explicitly included in the model --- a detailed study being given of how injected fluids and acids interact with formation mineralogy. 20 refs.
