Onshore decommissioning of offshore structures. Anon. JPT, April 1998, 50(4), 70, 71. (Synopsis SPE paper 38514).

Consideration is given to receipt of structures---to operate onshore facilities requires a level of capability suited to the multitude of possible forms in which the structures arrive onshore. The methods used for receiving being heavily influenced by weight. Equipment, facility requirements, legislation onshore, waste management, environmental aspects, materials involved and routes for disposal are examined. Dismantling and recycling are also discussed.
