An attempt is made to present an algorithm to get small-interval values of wave heights from their large-interval observations. This is based on the use of temporal disaggregation models, employed conventionally in hydrology, to disaggregate a break apart an annual series into a monthly one, a monthly series into a weekly one, and so on. 8 refs,
