Strategy for kinetic parameter estimation in the fluid catalytic cracking process. J. Ancheyta-Tuarez et al. Ind. Engng. Chem. Res., December 1997, 36(12), 5170--5174.

A method is presented which uses 3-, 4-, and 5-lump kinetic models. Experimental data were well represented by the 5-lump kinetic model. Activation energies for each reaction are presented. The gasoline cracking reaction was found to have a kinetic constant much lower than the other reactions. 22 refs.
