US LNG imports 1996--1997 should recover from low 1995 levels. E.J. Swain. OGJ, 27 January 1997, 95(4), 84--87.

Imports of LNG into the US in 195 were the lowest since 1988. Total 1995 LNG imported from Algeria fell by 64.7% as a result of extensive renovations to the country's LNG export plants.
