Costs for six selected equipment items used in refining construction operations have been surveyed for 1992--1994. Nelson-Farrar equipment indexes tabulate those items. Valves and fittings showed the greatest increases in cost, with five other items showing more modest increases. Tanks and pressure vessels category rose 690.8 to 696.3; non-metallic building materials increased from 632.1 to 678.0; bubble trays showed an index gain from 926.7 to 995.3; fractionating towers showed a 34-point gain, increasing from 787.2 to 819.1.
