Silver-facilitated olefin/paraffin separation in a liquid membrane contactor system. D.T. Tsou, M.W. Blachman and J.C. Davis. Ind. Engng. Chem. Res., December 1994, 33(12), 3209--3216.

The separation of ethylene and ethane in high pressure hollow fibre modules in a membrane contactor system was studied. The equilibrium constant and Henry's coefficient were estimated and the effects of liquid recycle rate, liquid pressure, silver nitrate concentration and membrane wall thickness are reported. 30 refs.
