An overview is presented of two assessment methods, HAZOP which is a qualitative method, and FACILITY RISK REVIEW which uses different techniques of a qualitative and quantitative nature. An outline is included of risk management. The procedures for both risk assessment methods are described and tabulated data are presented and discussed.
