Health aspects of particulates. Inst. Petrol. Booklet, Environmental Health Series, No. 4, publ'd November 1995, Inst. Petrol., London, 21 pages (ISBN 0--85293--161--1).

This proceedings of an IP workshop, 13 June 1995, comprises five chapters together with brief details of a general discussion, whence it is considered that with present information it is difficult to conclude whether there is a specific effect from PM10s or whether other co-pollutants are responsible for health effects. Sources of particulates, composition and measurement, epidemiological studies in the US, and UK, and biological mechanisms are presented and discussed.
