This publication updates IP 385/88. The use of these Guidelines will enable the user to identify the presence of viable micro-organisms, take appropriate antimicrobial measures and carry out remedial treatments. Problems caused by micro-organisms are discussed, sampling, analysis of samples, interpretation of results, and avoidance and remediation are reported.
