The necessary modifications are defined to make any offshore saturation system suitable for the provision of emergency medical care, as well as what special equipment needs to be available in the chamber to support this. A brief review is given of the modifications that may be required to conventional chamber systems, items of medical and medical support equipment for suitability and use within the chamber, and identification of any other additional work.
