Dichotomies in catalytic cracking. B.W. Wojciechowski. Ind. Engng. Chem. Res., August 1997, 36(8), 3323--3335.
The wide range of observations reported in studies of catalytic cracking are explained by ascribing them to the influence of pairs of related effects, termed dichotomies. Catalytic cracking is considered as a chain reaction and the consequences of the separate and overlapping effects of the dichotomies are discussed. 13 refs.
