By the aggressive application of advanced technology, natural gas and oil production has been increased by more than fivefold in less than 21/2 years. Substantial reduction per unit development and production costs were also experienced. Hydraulic fracturing, remote fracture monitoring, velocity strings, slim-hole drilling, single-stage cementing, production monitoring, vapour recovery, and field performance are described.
