Perforation of the deep horizontal gas well Sohlingen Z 3a. (In German). M. Muller. Erdol Erdgas Kohle, October 1997, 113(10), 417--420.

Details are given of how a very deep well was completed, perforated and successfully tested. This was the first time that in Germany long intervals in a horizontal well were perforated using CIRP-connectors (completion, insertion and retrieval under pressure) and a 1.5 in. HP coiled tubing. 4 refs.
